Who is this for?

Anyone who'd rather find a note on the fridge than a notification on a screen. Families spread across countries. Couples who travel for work. Kids who want to send drawings-in-words to their cousins. And grandparents, who turn out to be great at Chit, because on the receiving end there is nothing to learn. Paper doesn't have settings.

Who can send to my chitter?

Only people you've invited. You see everyone with access in the app, and you can pause, remove, or block anyone at any time. Nothing prints on your chitter that you didn't allow.

What happens to my messages?

A note travels encrypted from the sender's phone to our server, waits until your chitter is ready, gets printed, and is then deleted from the server. What remains is the paper in your kitchen and a line in both sides' history saying a note was sent. The full story is in the privacy policy.

What does the chitter need?

A power socket and your home Wi-Fi. That's it. Senders don't need any hardware, just the app.

What paper does it print on?

Ordinary receipt rolls, the same kind every supermarket till uses. They're cheap, sold everywhere, and one roll lasts a long time when people are writing you notes instead of grocery bills.

What does it cost?

Nothing right now. Chit is in early testing, the app is free, and the first chitters are hand-built units I'm placing with testers. Pricing comes later, when the hardware does.

Is there an iPhone app?

Not yet. Testing is Android-first; iOS follows once the Android app has settled down. Joining the waitlist is the best way to hear when that happens.
